RADIO FREQUENCY TECHNIQUE – SNORING SURGERY
A modern and safe method which is carried out under local anesthetic, without great expense and risk, and results in a significant reduction of the volume of tissue, for example, the nasal turbinates, improves nasal breathing so that snoring is reduced. Typical annoying nasal packing is not necessary and sporting activities or the ability to work are not restricted. If desired, this procedure can be carried out at short notice and even during a lunch break.
Over growth of tissue of the palate or a too long uvula may lead to airway obstruction, with the consequence of snoring.
These changes can be corrected under local anesthesia by stiffening the soft palate and reducing the uvula without serious risk of bleeding.
